Our Vision

To make an enduring contribution to the development of Africa’s digital economy.

The strategic investment in core digital infrastructure, including the linking together of open-access data centres across the continent through hyperscale connectivity, is creating Africa’s first truly open-access, interconnected digital ecosystem.

WIOCC Group
in Numbers

WIOCC was established in 2008 as the largest investor in the EASSy submarine cable system and has since grown into a leading provider of Africa’s wholesale hyperscale digital infrastructure. In 2021, Open Access Data Centres (OADC) was launched and is now Africa’s fastest-growing data centre company. Building on this success, the Group has grown with the addition of Open Access Technical Services, Open Access Fabric and Open Access Metro, further enhancing its capabilities and service offerings across Africa.
