Eng. Lawrence Nkala

Lawrence Nkala is an experienced telecommunications executive with over 25 years of experience in network operations, technology strategy and digital transformation. He currently serves as Acting Managing Director at TelOne, where he has also held senior roles including Chief Operating Officer and Technical Director, leading major infrastructure, innovation and commercialisation initiatives.He has played a key role in the modernisation of national telecommunications infrastructure, implementation of large-scale capital projects and development of wholesale and digital platforms that have significantly contributed to revenue growth. His experience spans network engineering, operations management, customer services and strategic leadership within the telecommunications sector.Mr. Nkala holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe and is a Chartered Engineer and Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (UK).
