James Wekesa

James Wekesa, CCO at WIOCC Group, is an accomplished and dedicated leader who oversees shareholders, government relations and client growth while nurturing client relationships across Africa. His strategic acumen and client-centric approach have been instrumental in positioning WIOCC Group as a leader in the telecoms sector. With over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, operations and business-to-business engagements in the automotive and telecoms sectors, James brought a wealth of knowledge and experience of operating in the African environment to the WIOCC Group.James’s journey at WIOCC Group began in 2009 when he joined from Afsat Communication Group, where he held the positions of General Manager Kenya and Group Head of Special Projects. He holds an MBA from ESAMI/MsM, along with certifications in Project Management, TQM, CIM and Sales Management. He is an Agricultural Engineering graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
