Julius Cheptiony

Julius Kiplang’at Cheptiony is a telecommunications and technology executive with over 20 years of experience in strategy, business development and digital transformation within the ICT sector. He currently serves as Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer at Telkom Kenya, where he leads corporate strategy, innovation and growth initiatives.He previously held senior roles at Telkom Kenya, IBM East Africa, Nokia Networks and other regional technology firms, with responsibility for business development, corporate strategy and market expansion across Africa. His experience includes leading large-scale transformation programmes, developing new business lines and managing partnerships with global technology providers.Mr. Cheptiony holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology from Strathmore University and has undertaken postgraduate studies in Public Policy and Management. He has also completed professional training in ICT, leadership and business strategy through international programmes.
